Time Attack Evo
If you have driven an Evolution you know its not built to do only one thing. From the factory the car is everything that you could possibly want and even more. Performance, handling, braking the list just goes on. For $30,000.00 you have a car that will hang with and even out perform cars that are well over twice the cost. Once you open it up it gets even more fun. We have built plenty of fast drag racing Evo's but after being introduced to road racing and the Time Attack events we figured it was time to take some turns.

"The Magnum" is the newest beast in the Buschur stable. It is a 2005 Mitsubishi Evolution MR. This car was purchased from Larry Webster an editor of Car and Driver Magazine back in the fall on 2005 and since has gotten the BR treatment.

The backend.

"The Magnum" had its first outting April 22-23, 2006 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. Driven by Robert Fuller saturday was basically to make some shake down runs to get some bugs figured out and dial it in. " The Magnum" was the 2nd fastest car on the property only being bettered by a race prepped Dodge Viper. "The Magnum" turned in a best of 1:41 and the Viper turned in a few 1:39's . Sunday was a new day and another story. "The Magnum" went out and was the fastest machine on the track that day. Running a time of 1:37.53

Keep an eye out for this at the Time Attack events held across the United States.

You ask why its named "The Magnum".... Because thats alot of rubber.
